Description:
Departure from Ortale Square to reach the Costa Palomba area, from where the trail to Antece starts, a rock sculpture depicting a warrior dating back to the 5th-4th century BC. At the end of the excursion, there will be a transfer to the Oasis of the Auso Waterfall. A short hike along the oasis trails will follow. There will be a brief presentation of the river's ecosystem and the wildlife present, with special attention to birdlife, as the oasis is home to various species, including the Green Woodpecker, Red Woodpecker, Little Owl, Blackcap, Dipper, Blue Tit, Chaffinch, Buzzard, Robin, and Black Redstart. Lunch will be provided at the equipped area of the oasis. Afterward, there will be a return to the village for a visit to the Grotto of San Michele Arcangelo, a sanctuary located inside a massive karst cave situated at the foot of a rocky wall not far from the town center.
Program:
Meeting at 8:30 AM at Ortale Square, transportation by car or shuttle to Costa Palomba, a 2-hour round trip hike; at the end of the hike, there will be a transfer to the Oasis of the Auso Waterfall, where a short excursion to the Auso Waterfall and along the river will take place, including a barbecue with typical appetizers in the equipped area. Return to the village for the visit to the Grotto of San Michele. Return at 5:00 PM.

- 11 participants and more: €32.00 per person

Participants should wear hiking shoes and clothing.
It is necessary to bring sunscreen, a cap, and a rain poncho if needed. Reservations are mandatory with three days' advance notice, and participants should bring 1.5 liters of water
